First Constituent Assembly of Pakistan Lasted for 7 Years

Do you know First Constituent Assembly of Pakistan lasted for? The very first constituent assembly of Pakistan formed at the time of Independence in the year 1947. The very first constituent assembly of Pakistan established in 1947 and it lasted till 1954. In this way, the assembly took rule over for almost 7 years. However, the starting of the session of the first constituent assembly of Pakistan held in Karachi in August 1947. Mr. J.N. Mandal  witnessed to be elected as being the temporary chairman of Constituent Assembly of Pakistan.  Therefore, Muhammad Ali Jinnah selected as the president of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on 11th August 1947. It was based on two major parties mentioning with the Muslim League and The Congress Party.

The assembly was on the whole based on 100 members. East Bengal had 44 members. West Punjab had 17 members and Northwest Frontier had 3 members. 4 from Sindh and 1 from Balochistan was also part.  Hence, the first Constituent Assembly of Pakistan was dissolved on October 24, 1954, by Governor General Malik Ghulam Muhammad.
