Warsak Dam is constructed on Kabul River, 20 km away from the Peshawar City. The dam was constructed by the Canadian government and started operating in 1969. This Dam has 460ft length and has 250 ft height. Warsak Dam has hydropower capacity of 525 MW. This dam has an active capacity of 25,300 acres.ft Warsak Dam generates 1100 GWh annually.
