Masjid-e-Qiblatain is one of the major mosques in the Islamic world. It is also known as Masjid with two Qiblas. This masjid is situated in Medina at the North West side. Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) brings some change in his direction from Masjid al-Aqsa, Jerusalem to Makkah just as during a prayer, as per Allah’s instruction. In this way, all the Prophet’s companions also followed Him (P.B.U.H) and therefore they changed their directions towards the direction of Makkah. After this event, this masjid known out to be Masjid al-Qiblatain. This masjid had distinctively created upon with two mihrabs.
One of them is facing Mecca and the older one is faced in the direction of Jerusalem. Now the masjid have just one mihrab that is facing in the direction of Mecca.
